THE HOUSING CRISIS: NIMBYISM, RENT CONTROL, SINGLE FAMILY ZONES
Some argue that the problem when it comes to high rent prices is the lack of land to build on. Arguing that there is simply nothing we can do short of moving to more affordable areas. Some think rent control or public housing/Section 8 is the best solution. Others argue that we have enough land and the real problem is the wealthy and powerful. A theory is that these few people own large amounts of land but do not want to allow housing for the poor and working class. I want to look into this issue objectively.
USING LAND AND REAL ESTATE TO HELP OTHERS
Real estate investments seem like one of the best financial decisions a person can make these days. Besides making money, and being a primary residence, houses and real estate in general can and should be used to help the community not just provide luxury for a select few.
