One of the many foods that the Bay Area and the West Coast in general is known for is Mexican food. This makes sense since the US-Mexico Border isn't too far away and California used to even be part of Mexico historically being called
"Alta California" (Spanish for higher/northern/ or upper etc) .
Where do they have the best groceries?
Is it Whole Foods is it Trader Joes? How about the small mom and pop shops do they have the freshest vegetables?
Which butcher section has the best cuts of meat?Which bakery has the freshest bread made just before you walked in? We would like to know too.
